This notice explains how OurClass, available at ourclass.cloud and operated by Sizorax Ltd (Company No. 16955799), uses cookies, local device storage, and limited telemetry.

2. Essential Platform Storage

We use essential cookies and similar storage mechanisms required to sign users in, maintain authenticated sessions, apply security protections, and remember platform settings needed for the service to function.

• Authentication and session continuity for signed-in users.
• Security controls intended to prevent misuse, unauthorised access, and session abuse.
• Core interface preferences needed to render the product correctly.
• Cookie-preference storage so the service can remember whether optional telemetry was accepted.

3. Optional Telemetry

Optional telemetry is only enabled when a user accepts analytics through the cookie banner. Where enabled, OurClass may process browser error reports and limited realtime reliability events so Sizorax Ltd can investigate faults and improve service stability.

• Browser error monitoring through Sentry, where configured for the environment.
• Realtime session reliability events used to diagnose channel or subscription issues.
• No advertising, remarketing, or cross-site profiling telemetry.

4. What Optional Telemetry May Include

Optional telemetry may include technical metadata such as browser type, timestamp, environment, page or feature context, session identifier, and fault details relevant to diagnosing the issue. It is not intended to capture marketing profiles.

5. Suppliers and Transfers

If optional telemetry is enabled, related data may be processed by approved suppliers used by OurClass. Current named suppliers and transfer information are summarised in our Subprocessors and International Transfers notice.

6. Retention

Essential session and security records are retained only for as long as needed to operate the service, investigate misuse, and meet legal or safeguarding obligations. Optional telemetry is retained according to the configuration and retention settings of the relevant monitoring supplier and OurClass internal operational need.

7. Managing Your Choice

You can choose Accept All or Essential Only from the cookie banner shown on the site. At present, the banner controls whether optional browser telemetry is enabled on that device. School-controlled processing obligations remain described in the Privacy Policy.

8. No Marketing Cookies

OurClass does not use marketing or advertising cookies.
